Eddie: Excellent

Both of the boys were in a show today.

They got Excellent and Eddie was placed 4th in the open class. Alfie was not placed.

Eddie:

Pleasing head and eye. Very good legs and feet. Good lay of shoulders. Strong topline. Good tailset. Moved well. Would like more turn of stifle.

Alfie:

just noticed that I got another dog’s review.

Tony arrived Finland safely and he had a nice & short walk in the Finnish forest. We didn’t see any wildlife but of course when Tony wasn’t walking with us on Sunday we saw “Metsäpeura” (this is translated as Forest Reindeer but I find it a bit funny as the only reindeers I know are the ones in Lapland and working for Santa and are called “Poro” in Finnish).

Saturday was a good day for Tony as see saw lots of good dogs and was impressed by the stock we have in Finland. Flat Garden’s Arthur XII was BOB.

On Sunday we went to see Working Test. It was freezing cold with the northern wind. The boys were also with us.

Next Saturday we will go to see Lahti International dog show. In the meanwhile Tony has been a good “slave” and had been chopping all my wood and cleaned the house.

We have also had a look at the Finnish FCR in the internet and I found the yearbook from the year 2002.
