Even in Finland it has been very hot during this weekend.
It was hard to work in the garden because of that and eventually I gave up: I went swimming with the boys.
Today is my first “anniversary” in this house. I celebrated it by swimming in the pond for the very first time (last summer was cold and rainy so I did not swim at all).

Mostly I spend the time in the pond on the “mattress” using the boys as motors for moving around. Even in that short time I managed to get sunburned.

Eddie & Alfie got to visit Alpacas & Llamas today.
Boys thought they were a bit bizarre but after a while they got used to them more.

In every dogs life they have two days per annum to celebrate. The first being their birthday & the second being the day they were brought into their new home ‘Happy puppy day’.
Below are photos of Baxter in his new home with his new friend Murphy.

Today we have had a good run round the forest, swam in the lake & are having roast chicken for dinner.
A firm favourite with the bad boys!

In Finland little warlocks and witches are visiting houses and giving ornamented willow tree branches today. They are also wishing good luck (I guess).
With two flatcoats welcoming them on the door it ges a bit too much of a hassle, the witches fell down with their eggs and baskets.
Here’s some photos during the visit.

The weather in Finland has been just beautuful since I came back. Powder snow & sunshine.
The boys love it too, of course.
Tomorrow we will go to the X-ray (hip & elbows) + check patella’s. The result will be official and recorded to the boys. Keep your fingers crossed that they are as heathy as possible!

I had an additional riding lesson on Thursday and I had my boys with me since I knew they needed to work in the stable.
On Wednesday during my weekly riding lesson some very young girls tried to transport hay pales from the barn to the stable using sledge. It was too heavy for them.
So on Thursday the boys were wore harnesses. They both transported 3 hay pales eg 6 in total. It was a new experience for them and we were having so much fun!
This photo is taken in a dark barn using mobile phone. The boys were also wearing reflector vests (they got them from Santa).
