As you can see there hasn’t been new updates / posts here lately. Last post was almost 2 months ago.
Mostly it is because of the traslation button in the browser toolbars. See the example.
Most of the visitors for this blog are from Finland anyway so they can read the Finnish blog anyway and people outside Finland can use the translation button for the Finnish blog.
So at the moment I don’t really know what to do with this blog: to continue in English or just write in the Finnish side. Maybe I should write about something different: like raw food or similar that are not so common outside. Or then because they are not so common they are not interesting…

In North Hampshire we usually get either no snow or approx 2cms snow for a couple of days per annum. The 2cms snowfall brings the whole of North Hampshire to a standstill.
This year we have had 25cms and more is on its way.
While the rest of the UK is thoroughly disliking the weather conditions, the bad boys & I have been loving it.

We have had snow before Christmas for the first time in many, many years. Hence the photos.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and we hope that 2010 brings everything you wish.

Last week the Finnish army took over our forest but still we went for walks and try to avoid them. Sometimes even the goats joined the walks.
One day we actually passed them too close. I noticed the army tent too late and needless to say that the flatties were already inside the tent by then.
I whistled them back and when running back Eddie had something in his mouth. I quickly took it and left it by a tree. Two solders came out of the tent and they had fun when when they saw me with two flatties and one goat (only Lumikki was with me during that time). Unfortunately I was not allowed to take any photos.
Today a week later we went close by where Eddie’s “stealing” took place and Eddie brought the packet he took from the tent to me. It was something called Näkkileipä.

So if you want to have a clever dog who can even bluff an army, choose a flat coated retriever. A dog that even army cannot stop.
