Eddie & Alfie were just little boys then.

Memories from Hailuoto earlier this month.

Both the boys and the lady of the house were training with rabbit on Wednesday night.

To my big surprise Alfie did it the best. At first he did not quite know what to do but when he did he was tracking better than Eddie & Minnie.

Minnie did not really find the rabbit by tracking. Eddie was half tracking half searching.

I had my helmet camera “flatcam” attached to the tree close to the end of the track so I was able to see their performance also after coming home (video).

Plenty big enough for me and needs tune ande practise in the ring. Lovely classical head but would prefer to see a tighter eye. His hint movement was  better than his front due to better angulation of the hind quarters. Good depth of chest. Lacks maturity.

Nicely presented, correct size. Would prefer a tighter and less prominent eye and better tailset. Excellent seissor bite and good parallel rear movement.

Trephilip Night Sky Lass

NUO ERI, NUK 1, SA (Intermediate Class Excellent, Intermediate Class First, CC quality)

Small but correct in type and although out of coat, has a pleasing outline. Good head, clean through the throat and a dark eye, but just a little too much stop. Perfect bite. Excellent neck, forequarters, ribcage and loin. Good angulation and hind quarters and well muscled. Coat looks correct in type. Moves a little close behind but with good strength, need to tighten a little in front. Good tail carriage, just a fraction low set. Would prefer a little more bone.
