Dogs know how to enjoy life by sari

A story of a vet who went to see a family dog who was sick. The family (parents & their 6 year old son) was very attached to their dog who was terminally ill.

After putting down the beloved pet they discussed about dogs’ lives and why it was so much shorter than humans. The 6 year old son had the answer to that. He told “Humans are born to live a good life: to love another and to be kind to others. Dogs already know this so they don’t need to live as long.”

Then the vet made a list of things were humans could learn from the dogs:

* When your loved ones come home always run to greet them
* Never refuse an amusement ride
* Experiencing the fresh air and the wind in your face is pure ecstasy
* Take a nap
* Stretch before rising
* Run, romp and play daily
* Seek attention and let people touch you
* Avoid biting when a simple growl will do the trick
* On warm days pause and lie on the grass
* On hot days drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree
* When you’re happy dance around and wag your entire body
* Enjoy a long walk
* Be faithful
* Never pretend to be something other than what you are
* If something you need is hidden dig until you find it
*
If someone is having a bad day be silent and close and gently pull the person
* Enjoy every moment of every day!
