Walk
On our first walk this year we bumped into blood. The end of elk / moose hunting season was 31.12 so there was one that was shot very close to our home before the season ended.
If you are very sensitive, then please do not click the link to the video. But if you are interested in hunting in general, the please have a look.
I think it was good for my boys to see that and smell all the blood.
Eddie found something very yummy from there and on our way back he took something with him. At 4 AM next morning I had to clean it up from the living room mat as he could not digest that (it was his second time of vomiting it and the best time to do that is when people are sleeping). Apparently it was too strong for him. Otto was here too and he had some of it from the kitchen floor and did not vomit it (he eats lots of stuff anyway so he has a very strong tummy).
But the smell in the house was not too lovely afterwards even I cleaned several times and even used vinegar which is good for smells. I had to take the two mats outside.
Here’s Eddie enjoying his organic gourmet.
We had a nice over 10 km walk in the forest (or I did, the boys mostly run).

I bet if he had it all to do over again he’d do exactly the same thing. At least he did it on mats you could take outside.

On Kill It Cook It Eat It on BBC 3 on Monday they were hunting deer in Scotland. They gut it straight away so that it does not ruin the meat & they leave the stomach, intestines etc behind as food for the wild animals. Eddie obviously knew why it was there & tucked in to his gourmet snack. Yesterday the programme covered duck & today it is rabbits.
