Otto sometimes lays down in from the of fireplace but not for too long. His coat is so thick. I have deleted the photos of Otto enjoying fireplace warmth by accident (and many other photos too).

We just had a power cut last Monday due to the storm. I mainly warm up the house with the fireplace as it traps the warmth and moves it to the rooms (the fireplace is so big that is has "heating space" for the whole house area). If it gets very cold then we also use heat pump until -20C. For colder than that, you need the normal electric heating system (radiator).

I think you need to tell Otto to take it easy. Especially with this very cold weather which is moving over here this weekend. He needs to sit infront of a fire, relax and put his paws up.

I am hoping to get a fire & a fire place installed so that the bad boys & I can use it when we have a power cut. We have 6 a year & it gets very cold very quickly.

Otto does look like he is having fun with Eddie & Alfie.
