Laminate floor
Laminate is not the best choice for dog owners. It is better than wood as there aren’t almost any claw marks but is so slippery for old dogs.
Here is our neighbor Otto, 10-year old mixed breed dog, trying hard to get up.
Pergo flooring might be better as Michelle is saying in the previous post. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience about that floor yet but hopefully some day.
If you are thinking about getting laminated floor, please think again.

Poor little boy. In the absence of Pergo. He needs a rubber backed turtle mat to sleep on. It will stay still so that he can get up & down.

He normally lays down in a mat, but sometimes misses the spot and gets too far away from the mat. I have two turtle mats now
